Starring Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult, ‘Equals’ is a sci-fi dystopian film about humans who are not allowed to have any emotions. And yes, it’s the film where Stewart and Hoult were spotted filming certain scenes in Singapore last September.
It was reported that some of the filming locations included One-North MRT station, the Henderson Bridge and Keppel Bay condominium, which you can somehow spot some of the locations in this new trailer clip!
Nina (Stewart) and Silas (Hoult) live in The Collective, where they are safe from the many dangers in the futuristic life, but living in this contrived community means that all human emotions, including sexual desires has to be eradicated. But Silas and Nina falls in love with each other, and carefully plans an escape from The Collective when their co-workers and superiors start to get suspicious of their behaviours.
Also starring Guy Pearce, Jacki Weaver, Bel Powley and Kate Lyn Sheil, Equals opens InCinemas 26 May 2016!
