[Click on the movie titles for more film info]

A Star Is Born (Opens 4 Oct)
We all know Lady Gaga can sing, but Bradley Cooper?
Turn up the volume to hear Bradley Cooper’s surprisingly soothing vocal chops in this first trailer. This romantic musical drama features songs written for the film by Lady Gaga. All of the movie's music is original and was recorded live.

Bad Times At The El Royale (Opens 11 Oct)
Oooh! A murder-mystery thriller that looks trippy as hell from this first trailer. From the writer/director of ‘The Cabin In The Woods, this movie certainly share similar vibes from the genre-bending aspects of that movie’s plot. Secrets will be revealed.

First Man (Opens 11 Oct)
Based on the biography novel ‘First Man: The Life Of Neil A. Armstrong’, this movie will focus on Armstrong’s life from 1961 to 1969. Ryan Gosling reunites with his Oscar-winning La La Land director for this heartfelt and intense-looking retelling of the Neil Armstrong-led Apollo 11 spaceflight. The screenwriter for this movie reportedly stated that this is not a traditional biopic but a visceral mission movie with tons of action.

Halloween (Opens 18 Oct)
From this just released first trailer, Jamie Lee Curtis (looking very bad-ass!) character has been preparing and training to kill Michael Myers in case he ever return. This movie will ignore all the sequels to director John Carpenter’s 1978 classic and dive straight into their confrontation 40 years later.

The Girl In The Spider’s Web (Opens 6 Nov)
Tattoos, piercings, eye mask and leather. The leading character, Lisbeth Salander, sure looks like a female Batman from this trailer as she’s got the superhero moves down. This new movie is based on the first novel that is not part of the original Millennium Trilogy that started with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Looks more action-focused this time and that’s a good thing!

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2 (Opens 22 Nov)
This jam-packed trailer gives us a glimpse of just how big the world wide web is, as we see Ralph and Vanellope journey into the internet to find a replacement part to save Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush.
Expect lots of references to Disney-owned intellectual properties.

Widows (Opens 6 Dec)
A female-driven heist thriller about four women who try to finish a robbery after their husbands were killed while executing it.
From Oscar winning director of 12 Years A Slave and co-written by the writer of Gone Girl,
this surprisingly action-packed trailer also reveals a wildly talented cast.

Mortal Engines (Opens 13 Dec)
Visually impressive first trailer for this fantasy epic movie produced by Peter Jackson, director of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Hobbit’ trilogies. Set in the future where humans live on giant mobile cities equipped with huge wheels, battling each other on Earth.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (Opens 13 Dec)
Wow! The way the animation looks in this trailer is very cool, sort of like a comic book come to life.
This dazzling new direction looks even more fabulous with the multiple superheroes (including Spider-Gwen!) and supervillains (The Prowler! Kingpin, Ultimate Goblin!) featured.

Bumblebee (Opens 20 Dec)
An all-new Transformers movie set in the year 1987 that revolves around the loveable yellow Autobot that can’t really speak. It’s clear this movie has a different, more nostalgic tone from the Michael Bay directed Transformers movies. From the director of ‘Kubo And The Two Strings’, this movie promises an action adventure with more emotional impact than previous Transformers movies. The moment in this trailer when Bumblebee leans onto her hand just gives us all the feels. ‘The Iron Giant’ meets ‘Herbie’?

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (Opens 31 Jan 2019)
The epic grand finale of this trilogy is teased in this fiery first trailer. Vikings and Dragons will have to unite once again and battle the new villains. We’re guessing the dragon Toothless new girlfriend wlll help to vanquish the adversary.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (Opens 7 Feb 2019)
Hilarious first trailer showcasing a mixture of verbal and sight gags that appeals to kids, with jokes that work for adults too.
Looks like everything is still awesome!
