Synopsis
Sargam is a 25 year old single mother living with her 8 year old son Kannu in Gandhi Nagar, slums in Mumbai named after Mahatma Gandhi. There are Satellite TV’s, Fridge and smartphones in every home here-but no water line or toilets. While men go out near the Pipelines, women have no option but to go out late night in dark places to defecate. One such night after the Holi festivities, Sargam is raped. Kannu now becomes obsessed with setting things right for his mother and the other women in the neigbourhood for which even if he has to knock the door of the prime Minister of India and ask innocent yet tough questions he will not think twice….so along with his friends Ringtone & Niralaa he gets on a train to delhi.
