Synopsis
Padman is the story of a simple villager Lakshmi whose life revolves around devising innovation-wale solutions to day to day problems within his limited means. Inventing the machine that produced affordable sanitary pads was part of one such expedition that he took upon himself out of sheer love and concern for his wife. His struggle through the entire journey which also involved social exile is depicted with utmost candor and a dash of effortless humor.
