Catch Up on the Best Trailers from the Past Week

Blockbuster season is upon us and a number of highly-anticipated films released new trailers in the past week!

Here's a compilation of the latest trailers in case you missed them:



Elvis – In Cinemas June 23



Ahead of the film's impending release, Baz Luhrmann's Elvis gets a second trailer!

The biographical musical directed by Luhrmann film follows the life and career of musician and actor Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) as well as his complex relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). Luke Bracey, David Wenham, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Kodi Smit-McPhee, Gary Clark Jr., and Richard Roxburgh also star.

Elvis is set to take center stage in cinemas June 23.

 

Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder – in cinemas July 7



Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder – the fourth installation in the Thor franchise and 29th of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) –is the MCU's next film opening in cinemas and if the trailer is any indication, we're in for another fun ride!

The film is written and directed by Taika Waititi, and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman. In the film, Thor attempts to find inner peace, but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and Jane Foster (Portman)—who is now the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher (Bale) from eliminating all gods.

Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder arrives in cinemas this July 7.

 

Beast – In Cinemas August 18



This August, prey for survival as Idris Elba stars in pulse-pounding new thriller, Beast, about a father and his two teenage daughters who find themselves hunted by a massive rogue lion intent on proving that the savannah has but one apex predator.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part I – In Cinemas 13 July 2023



In the wake of the successful release of Tom Cruise's current film Top Gun: Maverick, his other highly-anticipated film finally dropped a teaser!

The seventh installment in the popular spy franchise Mission: Impossible Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part I – sees the return of Cruise as Ethan Hunt alongside Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Frederick Schmidt, all of whom will also reprise their roles from the previous films. Newcomers include Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, and Cary Elwes. Christopher McQuarrie returns to direct for the third time.

Catch Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part I only in cinemas 13 July 2023.
