'Promising Young Woman' is nominated for four Golden Globes!

The jaw-dropping, massively bold dark comedy thriller Promising Young Woman has been nominated for four Golden Globes!

Promising Young Woman from Focus Features was switched from Comedy to the Drama categories. Written and directed by Emerald Fennell, the film tells the story of a woman seeking revenge on those who wronged her. Starring Carey Mulligan, Alison Brie, Max Greenfield, Bo Burnham, Jennifer Coolidge, Laverne Cox, and Connie Britton.

The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on 25 January 2020, and was theatrically released in the United States on 25 December 2020. It received positive reviews from critics, who lauded Fennell's screenplay and direction, and Mulligan's performance. It was named one of the ten best films of 2020 by the National Board of Review.
