My My, 'Mamma Mia' Heads for a Sequel with Original Cast!

How can we resist the hit musical film ‘Mamma Mia!’, starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried and Pierce Brosnan?
Despite mixed reviews, the movie based on the London’s West End musical made lots of money, money, money, raking in more than $600million worldwide, about 12 times more than its production budget! So there’s no surprise here that a sequel is coming your way.
As reported by Deadline, a sequel is due for release on July 20 next year, 10 years after the original Mamma Mia! hit cinemas. Titled Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!, the Mamma Mia sequel will feature ABBA songs previously not featured in the film, along with reprised favourites. The original cast is set to return for the sequel, together with a few new cast members that are yet to be announced.
‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ director, Ol Parker will write and direct the movie.
