Disney’s Moana Singapore Promotional Tour Concludes with a Festive Light-Up Event!

By Flora  /  10 Nov 2016 (Thursday)

The upcoming Walt Disney animation film, Disney’s Moana, concluded a series of promotional events in Singapore with a festive light-up segment at the ArtScience Musuem, Marina Bay Sands.

The young and bubbly actress Auli'i Cravalho, voice of Moana, was joined by producer Osnat Shurer, Singaporean lighting artist Roger Lee, and Griselda Sastrawinata, visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Apart from the press conference where all four talents shared about their experiences making the film, both Lee and Sastrawinata conducted animation and drawing workshops for students and the public during the two-day promotional tour in Singapore. Last evening, they gathered together for a light-up event where the ArtScience Museum turned into a canvas for a light projection of the film’s official logo.

Fans and the media were also treated to a refreshing Polynesian dance performance by Nonosina. The 3-minute dance routine was specially choreographed by Tiana Nonosina Liufau, who also serves as the film’s main choreographer.
