Be-Ware or Be Square! Museum Of Horrors is Back!

By InCinemas  /  25 Oct 2014 (Saturday)

The Museum Of Horrors V: The Relic returns for the fifth consecutive year at *SCAPE, bringing the youthful (and fun) scares in the heart of the bustling city!

This year, expect more scare-points, creepy setups and interesting themed-trails at the haunted house! The fun begins at The Deck at *SCAPE, which is dressed up like a graveyard, complete with ghouls hanging from trees. Visitors to the exhibition can expect several realistic diorama sets such as The Medical Laboratory, Cabin in the Woods, The Creepy Fun House Maze and Revenge of the Doll. Oh, did we mention that we spotted 'Annabelle' inside too?

[About The Museum Of Horrors]
Unearthed from the deep sands in the Middle East is a relic so mysterious, it is believed to belong to a long-lost city as enigmatic as the Atlantis. Estimated to be over 2,000 years old, little is known about the idol-like ornament, the race it belonged to, and why the race was eradicated so suddenly that virtually no records of its existence exists today. After making its rounds in the academic circles, the relic will, for the first time in Singapore, be showcased at the MOH for a limited time this October.

[Our Thoughts]
We walked through the haunted trail and were rather surprised as to what greeted us. Besides using darkness, loud screams and eerie-looking 'ghosts' to instill fear to its visitors, we enjoyed viewing the elaborate sets and intricate props that Reno Tan, the brains behind the haunted house has done. Though it's a small-scaled event (compared to the other Halloween parties around the island), Tan was able to divide the space into different sections; from 3D-scares, Annabelle's room to a maze in near complete darkness, we were impressed at the amount of effort the team had put in.

To give you some figures of what you should expect at Museum Of Horrors: The Relic, there are approximately 30 scare-actors waiting for you. That's 30 times of endless screaming. Beware...
