‘Monday Couple’ Stole The Show at the Running Man Fan Meet in Singapore!

It was no doubt that the ever-popular ‘Monday Couple’, consisting of Kang Gary and Song Ji-Hyo was a fan-favourite of the night, which gathered much teasing and cheers from the crowd.
The only female of the group, Song was showered with much love from her cast members and fans alike. With every camera panned towards the lad, loud screams and cheers were heard among the 3000 odd fans at the Singapore Expo hall. Even during speeches, the crowd broke into cheers, chanting her name is unison, anticipating her reaction to the massive support from the fans.

Tickets to the event were sold out within hours when priority sales and public sales opened on 20 and 21 September respectively. Fans were eager to meet members Ji Suk-Jin, Kim Jong-Kook, Kang Gary, Haha and Song Ji-Hyo.
As it was Song’s first time touring with the other Running Man members, all the attention was turned to her and Gary, widely known as the ‘Monday Couple’ on Running Man. Fans took every opportunity to show their support and love for the duo, displaying their fan boards and cheers for the couple. During the introductory speech, the crowd even chanted ‘bo-bo hae’, which means kiss in Korean.
If that wasn’t enough to make the fans go crazy, Ji-Hyo ‘declared her love’ to Gary during a game segment. As the quintet had to choose audience members for a game segment, all five chose someone from the opposite sex. When Ji-Hyo held the hand of a male audience member, Gary cheekily gave a ‘jealous’ expression, to which she answered ‘No no, I love you.” Together with the crowd, the other male members gave howling sounds, teasing the star couple of the night.
Besides playing familiar Running man games with audience members such as kicking a shoe into the respective boxes and tug-of-war, fans were treated a galore of performances with songs by individual members of the group and of course, a special stage by the 'Monday Couple'.
From slow ballads to fast raps, the quintet Ji Suk-Jin, Kim Jong-Kook, Kang Gary, Haha and Song Ji-Hyo gave fans a night to remember.
