This DVD contains the following features:
1. Commentary with the Kendrick brothers: You can switch this feature ON/OFF during the movie.
2. The Making of Courageous: This is a 23-minute feature about the making of the movie. It is very informative and has a lot of on set footage. Many aspects of the film are covered such as set design, costume, stunts etc. There are also inspiring interviews with those involved in the making of the film.
3. Deleted Scenes: There are 12 deleted scenes - 'Derrick talks with Antoine', 'Derrick meets Jade', 'Javier loses job', 'Nathan and David at gun range', 'Time to man up', 'Thinking of Emily', 'Processing Shane', 'Nathan and Kayla discuss ring', 'Finding Nathan's Dad', 'The sweetest thing', 'Derrick and Jade at lunch', 'Nathan comforts girl'. This feature lasts about 12 minutes in total. Many of these deleted scenes are very well-shot and it's surprising that they did not make it to the final cut.
4. Outrageous: Outtakes and Bloopers: This feature lasts 7 minutes and starts out being very funny, but later becomes quite boring with the actors doing dance movements on sidewalks, and in cars.
5. Courageous in 60 Seconds: Like its title says, this 1-minute featurette summarizes the gist of the entire film in that short time. Nothing memorable.
6. Heart of Courageous: This featurette runs 3 minutes, and talks about the importance of fatherhood and religion in the development of the young.
7. The Story of My Father: This featurette runs 9 minutes and focuses on Ray Wood, who is a Sherwood volunteer, and who appeared in Courageous. Wood's daughter tells a touching, personal story about her father, and how religion brought them together again.
